Isn't that Cheyenne MT. in the background, home of NORAD? (local radio broadcast towers)

Yup. About halfway up you can see the Will Rogers Shrine of the Sun.

Not a good place to be if nuclear war breaks out (of course, not many places would be good).

I was thinking it would be nice if the towers were not on the mountain, but it's not as if there is no other "hand of man" in the shot so they don't bother me that much.
