p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Upper Gotoh no Taki (Upper Gotoh Waterfalls) - Japan

This is a photo taken of the Upper Gotoh no Taki located in Sasaguri, Kyushu Island, Japan. The Japanese word for Waterfalls is Taki, for those who are interested. There are a number of small waterfalls around the town of Sasaguri and most of them are located inside Temple complexes. There are a number of temples in Sasaguri including the famous reclining Buddha.

I could only access this waterfalls from a higher vantage point, so not much of foreground. I love the way the waterfall curves and falls in two steps.

Your comments and criticism are most welcome. Thank you for your time.

It's a beautiful falls but I can't figure the scale. Is it a really big falls?

Thank you Stan.

Mickey, thank you for your kind words. There is a clump of grass in the lower third of the frame, just left of the falls. It is not a big falls.
