I was out tonight looking for night time insects to photo when i came across a small hole covered in web. I grabbed a small blade of grass and drug it across the hole and this is the girl that came out.
My wife is very excited to see this diversity in my yard

Seriously, this is an excellent capture Jason with creepy good detail... I really like seeing the hole she came out of.

Oh my goodness that is one big spider ! Fantastic shot , and excellent detail . I , however, will stick to the very tiny jumping spiders

Tarantulas used to be abundant in my area but are now quite uncommon. I miss them. Thanks for posting!

Thanks guys...my wife would have preferred I kill it or relocate it. She sure gave me an ugly look when I let it go back down it's hole. I think it's kinda cool to have stuff like this in my yard.
