Probably the biggest dragonfly I have seen this year. He was hovering very low to the ground trying to find a safe place to land, perhaps he was trying to find a sunny spot?

Man that does look like a monster, should probably keep the pets indoors when that thing is about.

All kidding aside, great shot and the low angle really makes it.
