Sorry if you were expecting slot canyons or scenes of massive erosion...
I came across this lovely field of flowers as I was exiting the area that Cottonwood Road traverses through the Paria Wilderness in southern Utah. This is the long dirt road that heads north starting near the Kanab BLM station and House Rock Road. I was scouting for campspots just beyond the Grosvenor Arch, which is contained in the butte in this image, but is not visible at this angle of view. A depression in the small valley nearby had collected water, though I would not call it a pond. Still, the vegetation there was thriving around it and it was refreshing to see this in the hot dry high desert. Springtime in the Summer!
