Beautiful shots Tex! Sure looks a lot nicer there now than when I spent 30 days there back in 1985 doing military "games."

Greg:
I'll bet White Sands Monument and the adjacent missile range looks vastly different when you are wearing a uniform and doing military "games"! Many thanks for your service to our country.

Thanks Tex, it was my honor. I'll tell you, I may have been too busy to see the larger scale beauty in that place, at that time, but I did see some amazing things there, and I would love to go back. Perhaps next year for a balloon festival!

I could easily be talked into going back to the balloon invitational. Give a yell if you want company!
Hi Tex,
I recognized your photos as soon as I saw them on F.M.. The 1st one is my favorite. Have you gone on anymore trips since our workshop with Bob at Bristlecone? I'm headed to Colorado on the 25th of September for a week of Fall photography including the Maroon Bells near Aspen, Crystal Mill near Marble, and 3 nights in the Ouray area to explore its splendid golden aspen glory. I was there 2 yrs ago and swore I'd be back. The San Juans are a photographers paradise. Have you been there: Maybe you should hop on a plane, meet me there, and shoot together. I'd love the camaraderie! Here's a sample of a photo that I took 2 years ago to tempt you into meeting me there. Take care, Suzanne from San Diego
