I believe it is machapuchare (or the fish tail) in the annapurna region.

Thank you for the kind words. This is my first photo contribution to these forums. I feel the general calibre of photos here tend to be quite high, I've felt hesistant share my photos unless they come some what close to those standards.

Machapuchare viewed from the western or south western side. Most images are from the south, which give the mountain more of a Matterhorn look, altho the northern peak is often visible in those images: http://www.mountain-forecast.com/peaks/Machapuchare/photos/5197
