Hey Edd,

#1 is the best here. #2 I think could look good if you processed it again without the HDR. The sky in #2 looks pretty bad I have to say... I think if you processed it normally, it could look super nice with the shape of the clouds.

I would definitely try #2 w/o HDR as the sky would definitely benefit.
I would also consider a B&W conversion on #2

Dan: I'm with you & Jim on this...I have enough (21 I think) exposures to pick out the best one that balances the shadow/highlight detail, and play with it in CS6.
