I'm giving this body a try for the next few weeks. So far, it seems pretty good. It's much lighter than my 7D, and the Single shot AF seems more accurate than before. The AF drive also seems much faster than my 7D with the big lenses!

These are just lovely ! I know nothing about Canon gear, but whatever you have and did looks great

My favorites are 3, 4, 5 and the last. Love the flower camp shots.

Beautiful set with your 70D, Charles. First 3 and the last one are my favorites. Spot on focus, nice detail and contrasty.

Thanks Roberta! I really like the composition in that camp shot, even though the lighting is tricky!

Thanks Tam! I had some pretty bad light on the second bird, but I managed to save the raws in post.

Thanks! I was using the EF 500MM f4l IS (the old one) and 1.4x converter II.

Thanks! It is pretty nice! It's rare for me to buy anything new, but once I saw it in store I had to get it!

Thanks Ron! Any camera can do this type of photography, but it just got much easier for me!

10 times eh? I dunno

it does focus faster in one shot AF than my 7d and that was a surprise!

The results look Great. Possibly Canon has come out with a wonderful new way to autofocus
