I saw this Red Spotted Purple on my butterfly bush but it wasn't moving. A young assassin bug/ambush bug killed it.

I think it's a great shot Howard. I don't see anything cruel in this, if it was an eagle grabbing a fish few would think about as being evil. This little hunter is only doing what he does to stay alive. To me it is impressive that he took down prey so much larger than himself. It is a wonderfully detailed and well focused shot. A look into a world most of us never see. Well done
