Finally seeing some butterflies and moths in my garden. I was out last night in bright windy conditions so not anticipating a lot of keepers. Did get this skipper that liked. Shot handheld with my Canon 5dIII and Canon 100mm L macro lens. Comments and suggestions appreciated.

A nice shot Gary. You might want to try to darken the brighter areas to the left of Skippy as they draw my eyes away from the subject ~ Ron

I agree with Ron. Backgrounds are a PITA with macros and very important
