Hi Akul,

I have to say that neither of these shots do anything for me. They both just look like something off a P&S camera. What is it the viewer is supposed to be seeing?

In terms of quality, both shots are soft. #1 has bad vignetting in the corners, and you have part of a road still in the shot in the lower right of it. Your exposure is nice, so that's good. But in terms of your composition, you really ought to work on that more.

Jim

Thank you. I appreciate you spend time commenting. I have been making bunch of studies for the last few years, so it makes sense it is hit or miss. Most of my shots are just my effort of trying to make something out of not always the grandest moment. In this shot, I'd say I did not do justice to the scene. It was not the 'feature thread' type of scene but I did not do justice to the lovely moment with early evening sun hitting the foliage I saw. I had a very little time, so I snapped several shots away. May be that is the 'PS' comment I got from you. Well, I will keep trying.

Agree on the road and the composition on that one can be worked more, as I am to try to make 'something'. Not agreeing your softness comment. I don't konw, it does not offend me. It is sharp at where I want it ( foliage ) I recall I did not close aperture down for this shot to get some vignetting. ( Lens does not have cpu, so it is my memory ) Vignetting never bothers me, so that is a preference, however, it is on the 'neither or ' amount. I can work on that more.

Luka
