Greetings - I'm primarily a sports shooter, but occasionally enjoy a break from the routine with some portraiture. I recently had a chance to shoot in a location I often passed and wondered what it really looked like beyond what I could see from the road. I stopped one day and took a walk through this scrapyard and it was even better than I'd hoped, with plenty of natural vegetation mixing with some well-aged vehicles. I already know some flaws, but would appreciate any C&C anyone has to share.

Lovely setting and colours, not sure about the quite harsh light. Worth shooting more with Kelsey I think.

She has a rust spot on her dress in #3. My eye went right to that.

Thanks guys - Ian...sometimes it seems all Florida has is harsh light... gome1122 - I should have had her change her 'belt' since it isn't a rust spot, but rather a feather that's dangling (one of the 'flaws' I'm already punishing myself for). And yes, JR - some look good in B/W, but some are just too textured for it to really be contrasting enough, and the models just blend in too much.

Fantastic spot, would love to find a little spot like that.
Considering the harsh light these are great, framing in the last is super.

A little too contrasty in some and a fill light would have helped just to bring the faces out a bit.

Hope to see more from the location.

Nice location. Some good shots here. I agree the light may be a bit to contrasty.
