Wildfires are among the saddest things we have to contend with. Driving through a still-smoldering forest and seeing the animals in total confusion and panic was heartbreaking.

It's a natural process that strengthens forests by burning off old growth, returning nutrients to the soil, and giving new life a chance. It's not exactly environmental damage.
