I haven't posted anything in quite a while; been too busy shooting, editing, and delivering. I do want to share this one, though. It's a lighting test for a corporate shoot last week. My friend Eric is a good photographer in his own right, but primarily a video guy (Emmy Award-winning, too). He accompanied me on this gig to pick up some technique to enable him to offer stills as an additional service for his own corporate video work. So this shot was a test exposure using Eric as my subject, and is cropped a lot tighter than the corporate headshots would eventually be. I liked the way it turned out in just about every aspect. Five Spiderlites: one broad fill, a key to camera left, two back 45's, and a backdrop light on the floor.
