this was a small lighting caused fire that blew up yesterday - got these shots along the Hayden Valley around Trout Creek pull off - the smoke plumes and the sun made for some really spectacular shots - unfortunately it may cause some road closures in the park today -

Hey Marcy,

Nice capture of the fire, it's too bad though it was there to be captured, but that is a part of our natural world. #1 is the best here.

this has grown to 7000 acres in the park and they are preparing to defend the lodges around the lake at Fishing bridge
