That's the ball on the end of the strap for tightening the gloves around your wrist. Might be a bit too abstract for a general audience purpose ... but it was just sitting there staring at me.

Yeah, they don't make a bunch of them these days ... nor do the make 'em like they used to. They're starting to get a bit cheap with their materials/construction.

It took me a few years to wear through my previous pair (maybe I'll shoot them sometime). This pair probably won't last more than one or two years. I'll be looking for a different brand next time. I might even have to learn to sew my own before it's over.

I find I have to buy new yard work gloves every year...I re-built half my deck last year, and went through 2 pairs in 3 months...they are kinda crap gloves...but I am kinda cheap about it too!
