Appropriately named by modern man, this remote Anasazi Ruin is in the Cedar Mesa/ Grand Gulch area of Utah. I've wanted to go there for years and finally did on my recent 11 day trip thru southern Utah's red rock country. Here'e my interpretation of the place. Canon 1DsIII, three frame panorama stitch from a shifted 17mm ts-e.

Hey Jeffrey,

Very cool shot here. The pano look really nails it nicely. When you do the 3 stitch pano shot with the 17mm TSE, is there any distortion to deal with? Or does it stitch up pretty similar to what you have here?

Thanks for the kind comments, everyone.

JIm, stitching from three frames off a 17mm ts-e couldn't be any easier. No nodal point setting or pano gear required. There is a bit of distortion from any lens in that focal length range and this image does exhibit some, but it is acceptable to me. I may have corrected the perspective a bit here. A few key elements need to be vertical so the viewer instantly gets the 'aaahhh' feeling instead of thinking 'by brain is telling me something is wrong here'.
