Morris,
Some strong images here.
I especially like the first three. Great stuff- they.
The last two, however, are too light over-all for me.
I assume you were trying to bring out the bird's eyes, but it affect all the other parts of those two images- especially with the penultimate shot.

Very nice Morris. 1 is very cute, and 4 is well seen and well captured.

I hate to admit it, but I agree with Charlie about the last two shots.

A nice set, Morris, and especially fun juxtaposed to Tim's skimmers. (I enjoy both series, but they have a very different feel). With regard to the last two, my first thought was that your PP choice was deliberate to illustrate what you saw (warm suffused light). But, then I saw the exif, and I wonder about beamer artifacts (too much flash on the background). Will be interested to hear your response. ~Greg

Thank you Charlie,

I agree the next to the last is about ½ stop over exposed and you can see I spotted that and adjusted my shutter in the last photo.

They must nest someplace. It's a matter of discovering where and then there is the fact that the location might be restricted of incredibly difficult to get to.

Thank you Ron,

Please don’t be afraid to be honest regarding your feelings when it comes to my images. We all see things differently and everyone makes mistakes including me. The last 2 are shot into the sun which can create beautiful effects and I love the flare in the last image. I also feel it is perfectly exposed. The one before it is defiantly a bit overexposed.

It is very interesting to see the wildlife in different settings and situations. The next to the last is overexposed a bit and you can see I spotted that and adjusted my shutter speed in for the last which has perfect exposure. The flash was dialed back as it should be for such close images. Look closely at the foreground, subject and background and you can see it fall off and the flash effect is minimal on the background. Both images are affected by lens flare as the sun was very low and made it under my lens hood striking the front element. This robs contrast and I did add some. In the last image I like all the visible flare, it is a nice addition to the images and I understand that some might not like it.
