Very nice Chris! Hatch gave you some great feedback. I'll add a few thoughts using the last image.
I see from that image you have two light sources. One light source camera left looks to be a large softbox. It's in nice and close and that's good. There's another light source much closer to the camera that's smaller and/or further from the subject.
The ratios are pretty close, but in the last photo the larger source seems to be your main (key) light. Conventional wisdom has the key as the smaller source, with the fill as the larger source. You might want to try that in addition to using a little higher ratio.
On the first you used short lighting, which is flattering and appropriate to your subject. As Hatch pointed out, you need to get your lights higher. If you're shooting at home that might be problematic. Standard 8' ceilings really aren't high enough to photograph standing subjects.
You have a lovely model and you're off to a great start. I'd like to see you shoot her using a butterfly light pattern with just a simple reflector, even foamcore board, placed underneath. Try the butterfly pattern with your large modifier, then with your smaller modifier and see what you think.
Regards, Doug
