Great B&W conversion. #1 and #2 are great with #2 being my favorite of the 3.

Yeah, #2 is a really strong image, both for the moment and for the B+W conversion. A lot of great textures for such a distant scene

Quite lovely. Number 2 is just outstanding.

Curious what tools you use to do your B+W work? This is an area I haven't spent much time on, and I enjoy the look you've achieved here.

Oooo, Wow!. Those are absolutely stunning. Love the White Rim.

We were hit with a similar microburst a few weeks ago, which took out a more than a hundred mature trees in area (35 at the golf course alone).

Perfect light and timing Klaus.
The first one is very well thought–out. The contrast leads the eye. The second has great atmosphere and mood. All winners.

Yes, I would like to know too. Black and white is not an area I have explored, you make me re-think that.
