I don't consider Johnston Canyon a hike. It's more like a traffic jam.

The 1st one is really nice. i did this hike almost 10 years ago...amazing park.

it was. but you had to find some creative ways to get off the trail to get any good shots

thats interesting you say that. the parking lot was full but we didnt see that many people.

I am wondering about this Johnston Canyon.
What would be like in winter as to hiking to the upper falls?

Winter hiking into the Canyon is really neat. Lots of ice and can be a little dangerous. Definitely wear ice crampons if you go. The frozen falls make for a great photo.
