Nice hilt. I like the dramatic lighting and how she almost fades into darkness but the hilt still shows good detail. I find her right shoulder to blend in with her hand, though, that creates a bit of an illusion that her hand is awkward.

That shoulder bothered me too, maybe lighting it might make it separate better?.
On the original file it's not as bad.

Thanks for looking mate,
Lighting was simple. I wanted a dramatic light so a big softbox camera right and a reflector camera left.
I didn't want the light to be in front of her so i set the softbox at 180 degrees to her so it's just going to skim her.
I had her stand inline with the back of the softbox. The reflector was obviously used to fill in a little.

For some reason B&W didn't occur to me, which is strange as I would normally set up lighting similar to this when I want a B&W image.
