When I spotted the green heron on this abandoned board walk at the Oceanside Marine Nature Study Area, I wanted to go out on it and soot from belly level. As this is not allowed, I had to shoot over the tall grass. This eventually led to some interesting views when the heron walked over to me.
Some of these were cropped for composition with #7 coming from about ½ the frame.
