I went out for a walk in the park with a family of friends. It was a great day - hot and sunny. However that made it very sweaty hiking up and down hills. Fortunately, we found a cool spot in the trees to relax for a few minutes. The hard part of this shot was waiting for the dog go look in the right direction....

I cannot decide if I like the colour or B&W version better.....

If it was possible I would have tried the shot without the leash. I think it would look better that way. I like the B&W one.

I like the b&w, too. And I hope no one gets poison ivy because it sure looks like they were surrounded by it.

Thanks for the comments - I too prefer the B&W.

The ivy looks like some varieties of poison ivy - however, fortunately this is not of the poisonous type - thank heavens

The photo is awkward for me. The girl is obviously not comfortable. The body angles would have been better if the girl was seated on her mother's?? left leg. I prefer the colour,mostly because the B&W is too contrasty for my taste.

Without the leash, that would be the last you see of that breed for hours.
