It does draw the eye to the face but it's not subtle. Maybe I'm imagining things.

I've noticed it a bit too. Seems like the face is a full stop and a half hotter than the rest. Not sure if that's the way the light is falling or if it's post, but I agree with Bud, it's a little distracting compared to the previous style/lighting
