Hi all,

Imagine sedimentary gorges of red and blue rock, some of the oldest sediments on the surface or the earth. Imagine +40'C heat (that's +104F), a place where life clings to what nature offers up. It's a harsh desolate place.

Shot in the wilderness outback of Western Australia is a lone shrub on the face of gorge in Karijini National Park.

You may have seen the monochrome posted a few months ago. I held back on the colour as I did much prefer the mono.

Thoughts and opinions appreciated.

As previously posted, this is a great find. My monitor appears to display with a WB problem (colors are off). Also my personal preference is images utilizing the "Rule of Thirds" Jim

I'm always intrigued by the combination of red rock and sky blue light reflected on the polished surfaces. :-)

I just love this shot. Super highly detailed, minimalistic, and still colourful. Would look good blown up huge on anyone's wall!
