Really fine colors and composition Mike! Wonder what a lower pov would look like here.

Hey Mike,

A nice composition, did you use a polarizer? There is a bit of harshness to the rocks, though not too bad. Now this shot of yours looks pretty familiar, doesn't this little cascade have a name?

Thanks guy, and yes I was using a polarizer Jim ( a little much ? ) Don't remember the name - not to far above the lodge - but have seen it in other years with just a little trickle of water

Looks like Myrtle Creek, but would have Myrtle Falls just below it. Looks good to me.

That's where it is. A little path to the right of the trail leads to Myrtle Falls.

Nice shot btw, a softer and warmer light would work great here.

This particular section of stream (Edith Creek) doesn't have a distinct name itself, but spin around 180 degrees and you'll be looking over the top of Myrtle Falls.

Nice image of one of my favorite places to take a walk to, any time of the year. Did you happen to see the marmots that live in the burrow in that brown patch in the upper right of your image?
