It is SO hard to post here when the work just blows everything I can even think of away. Anyway, these are on a rare dark August day in Missouri during a rare wet summer here in the Ozarks. I had tried this location once before and the sun was brutal. Today the heavy rain was my companion. Maybe one day I will catch some color in just the right light? About 81 million gallons per day go through that shoot in pic#1.

Hey Greg,
It's great that you had some rain to accompany this trip, it adds a nice mood. #1 is my favorite followed by #2. I would only clone out the two bright green leaves on the right side, they stick out visually. I like how you handled the sky in #3, if you could do the same with #4, that would help it a bit. As it is the white sky takes a lot away from #4.

Hello to Hot Springs and some real Ozark country. Thank you for looking and I would love to make it in your direction this fall. I am sure you have an impressive fall color scheme!!
Sincerely,
Greg

Jim, you are always so great taking the time to offer detailed help. I made a rookie mistake and left my new Lee filters at home, and they would have been a big help with that sky. It was raining so hard when I left that I just did not think the sky would be so ugly. Anyway, you have highlighted the importance for me to ALWAYS have them, and your other thoughts are well noted too.
Thanks again,
Greg
