It was a quick snap to show how crazy she is. She will lay there with that bone in her mouth not moving just staring into space.
I think I captured her personality which was my point.

Which is, in effect, a snap shot as someone stated. On a more constructive note as we all strive to contribute to each other, the flash is a bit harsh. Believe me, I know how silly dogs are - I've got four of them literally saturating the goofiness of my home daily. I know where you're coming from. Cute pooch. If you don't have dogs you might be missing out on the true gist of what is going on. What colorful personalities (doginalities?) they have. What joy.
Constructive criticism - reduce the hot spots where the flash has reflected off of the black hair and try to achieve an overall more equal lighting effect on the hair coat. I always love a bit of bokeh in a portrait type of photo. Then again, it is what it is and there's no harm in sharing so don't be discouraged. And I don't think you are.
Lastly, this particular forum has always been for portraiture of people and pets. Duh. Pets are always welcome. Occasionally someone expresses that point by soliciting a flood of pet pictures doing whatever. Drive on. That's what it's for and always will be because it hasn't changed yet.
Thanks for sharing.
