My wife removed these prior to a dozer operation at a new development near our woodlands last year. Looks like they are going to make it at their new home...

You'll be happy you saved these little orchids, next time you get a bug bite split a leaf and rub it on. It takes the itch and swelling away

Thanks Birdie; they are getting rare around here, so when my wife spotted them prior to the work at a construction site, she did the "Rescue Ranger" move and got them thriving in our woodlands. The soil match was perfect, so we got a bloom in the first year, luckily.
