A fun set, David, for the diversity of species, and diversity of locations! The Chough is my favorite; it's a nice shot technically, and a beautiful bird (with which I was not familiar). ~Greg

Always a pleasure to see your images, David I particularly like the Alpine Chough. Great job with the exposure and the beautiful detail of its back feathers.
As an Italian I must admit I never seen this bird before. Thanks for sharing these

Thanks Socrate, I'm glad you liked them. The Choughs hang out in the mountains, I think they like the thin air

Thanks BB. I was pleased when the Yellowhammer posed perfectly for me. It's one of my favourites too.

Nice group David. Something about 1 that's giving me the impression that I'm looking down instead of up, but I like it.

Nice set David,

I haven't seen an Alpine Chough before and that is a good shot of one. I like the Yellowhammer and the thistle too.

Paul.

Very nice work David, I saw the Chough and a big smile came across my face. You offered up a wonderful selection, all of them wonderful in their own way. The Dolomites are part of your garden That's an area of the world that's on my list of Someday I Would to Visit. Now turn your head and Chough
