Yes Charles and it is a brand new 6D and I am glad that battle is over too! Thanks and yes you need tubes, they work on everything and are worth having for what they offer you. Used them on my 400 and 500 lenses for butterflies etc

Thanks for all your support buddy, appreciate that sir!

I like these a lot Karl... in fact, not a dislike in the bunch for me.
I'll be back after work to share my thoughts on the ones I really like the most.

Okay, here we go...

#1 Love the composition and vertical line of the stalk/blade... 4 nicely focused dew drops captures my eye and attention immediately, then I enjoy the beautiful palette of color in the BG. Very sweet shot buddy.

#5 Again, great composition... perfect DOF at f/11, the reddish purples are a wonderful accent to the greens and you captured and processed them beautifully... the

Nice to see you branching out, both here and in the landscape forum. I think I even saw one in the B&W forum! I like where you are going with these Karl, makes me yearn for a windless day or two. I'm partial to #'s 5, 7 and 8 in this set, really digging the character of #5, especially with that bug!

Greg

You will be seeing me on many forums........funny though I am seeing you on the same

Karl, these are wonderful! You have such a beautiful way of creating a serene mood with your images. I love the soft colors around the hummingbird and blossom. (not sure what kind of blossom that is). I like how the hummingbird is sharp amongst the softer flower and leaves. The dark edging on the bud in # 8 really draws my eyes to it, as if to wait for it to open. The Glowing Energy shot is also a favorite here. Again it is the contrast of the soft vs detail and light that really makes these magical. #5 is also a favorite because o.f the purple and details against the green. Can you tell I loved this set Karl? Stunning work.

Hello Nancy you are very kind. Some images settle with others very easy, some have to work to appreciate them. I am glad you can easily appreciate this set, thank you very much
Hummer is at the Bee Balm (Mondarda) plant. These grow quite tall too, mine are at about 4-4/12 ft this year and continue to attract this hummer!

Take care.......
