An "also-ran" from a recent excursion. On the way to my pre-determined destination I was seduced by this field of anemone and couldn't help but to stop and try an image.
You hit it on the head. It's very valuable to be able to learn to stop when beauty calls... Sometimes we get so focused on the Destination that we forget about the journey. Nice work here, I like this one.
Thanks to all for looking since I know this is more of an "autumn" image. Just happened to come across it in the archives. Looking forward to a few more images of wildflowers and alpine meadows in the days just ahead, and hoping my timing is right...
