I took this during one evening at the big lookout that overlooks Heceta Head Lighthouse. I was waiting for the evening glow to light up the lighthouse. I noticed this sunset scene so I trained my camera on it.

The dark cloud in the middle was moving south pretty rapidly giving the illusion of the sun rays looking like bicycle tire spokes turning slowing across the sky.

I waited for the sun spokes, if you will, to align symmetrically before snapping off a series. I like the more prominent upper rays as it portrays a more positive feeling to the overall scene.
