Shot in Raw converted to jpeg using DPP. How's the processing look? Thanks for your comments...Dave

I like 3&4. 5 looks a little heavy on the sharpening. Nice captures.

I love seeing bald eagles, and these look like they were fun to shoot, Dave. Looks like the lighting was pretty harsh, which makes it a challenge to render the whites (on the head) and the blacks (under the wings) appropriately. Backing off the contrast, selective use of burning and dodging, and lightroom sliders all can help. Also, I can see the appeal of 1 and 2 (bird + fish) but the framing and composition are a bit awkward (absence of a uniform background, bird flying out of rather than into the frame), and the focus seems soft on 2. Oh...one more thing...I prefer to look at images where the watermark is small, unobtrusive, and/or nonexistent. Thanks for sharing. ~Greg

I'll second Greg's comments, he is spot on. I like the fourth one the best of the set, it has a certain dynamic aspect to it that holds my eye. Well done!

Dave:

The first two and the last image look over processed and/or the crops may be large which results in a poor image.

#3 and 4 are by far the best images of the set with four edging out three.

Al thanks for the comments. 1st real try at pp with dpp. How could I tell about the over sharpening? It looked pretty good to me. The reason for #1, and #2 being composed the way I did, I wanted to show the full splash and I like to be different. Thanks... Dave
