Had a beach trip last week and wanted to try out the 10 stop ND filter from hi tech.
Not sure which I like better. both of these images are taken at different times... 1st one is at 4:30am and you can see the tungsten lamps from the pier above which I love in contrast with the blue skies. the 2nd one is more calm and tame and I love it as well and can't make a decision.

I would agree with you, I don't know which I like best but they both are tops in my eyes. I like the first for the color and shadow cast under the pier and the second for the strong draw that makes me look all the way out between those beams, very cool!
Good use of the structure to make some great images with good perspective. The last is ver peaceful, nice purple hue on the water close in.

The warm and cool juxtaposed in the first is very visually dynamic. I love it. But I'm equally drawn to the muted tones of he second. My favorite would depend on my mood-of-the-moment.

Agreed that all are very nicely done, but I'm personally drawn more to the subtle tones in the second. I can't imagine how much that would pop if you had it printed on metal

wow thanks everyone, much more response than I had expected.
the first one does "pop" more and shows a different kind of symmetry with light than the 2nd but that 2nd one with the tones and mood really draw me in more everytime I look at it.
I think i am going to get the 2nd one printed on either a large metal print or large acrylic, just have to decide on which one.

#1 does it for me.

In this case, I just looked at all three with enjoyment (I'm definitely not a techie ).
Then I went through them again and decided I like the first image better... just... because ,

Nice work, either of the first two would make a good album cover (if such things exist anymore). I think I slightly prefer the second image becuase of the simpler colours being less distracting from the form of the pier. Mark
