Nice image Trey. The only negative about such a big lens (other that size and weight) is that you don't have to develop your "sneaking up on your subject" skills. Hmm. Maybe that is a actually positive.

It does have the advantage of not requiring close proximity and that is quite handy!

You caught a yawn and a half, Trey. And I'm not buying this stuff about how an 800 keeps you from having to sneak up -- more reach is great but putting your feet close enough (whatever the lens) is what makes the shot, and it looks like you are succeeding with that too.

Thanks Mark. It does allow one to leave more space for the critters but getting close is still important. This just makes it a bit easier.
