We've been going through quite the heat wave here and I've been avoiding the woods due to the heat. On sunday, I had enough "downtime" and went to one of my fav little spots.
I was greeted with a few CYT's and their fledgings and then a very friendly Savannah that was nice enough to give me 3 or 4 perches.
All with 7D, Sigma 120-300 2.8 OS (non sport), and sigma APO 2.0x @ f6.3 & 1/1250. Love this lens!

Thank you Tam! Yes, I'm still liking this setup very much. The zoom is very convenient to find the bird at 300mm then zoom in to 600mm. It was the golden hour and the trees were glowing!

Thanks Ken! The images have a surprising amount of processing done as most of the leaves were blown out.
