Jim, thanks for your comments and feedback. I processed this at least a dozen times. It was very difficult to get a version light enough to print. The raw exposure was left as is for the barn and mountains with one stop darker for the sky and 1/2 stop lighter for the foreground. I agonized over how dark to make the grass. It might be better a bit darker for monitor viewing than for printing.

I know that feeling. I have a shot I have been processing all week now... I keep going back and forth with it. One minute it feels too bright so I darken it a bit and add a bit more contrast... then a couple of hours later I look at it again and it looks too dark so I lighten it back up again... I have been seriously doing that for 5 days now... It's funny... some shots when processing just fall right into place, and then others we can go back and forth on it trying to get the right feel for it...
