Very nice shot, love the water and the reflections. Seems like a sharpening artifact? on the ridgeline, or is it my eyes ( not wearing my glasses right now ). Looks like a wonderful night to have been there. Rick

Wow, you have definitely got a winner here. You found the perfect exposure to balance the rocks and the snow. Assuming that the full size image lives up to the quality of this web jpeg, this is going to look incredible in print.

What a really cool shot! Is it recent? I definitely need to get my passport renewed. The next time I am up in Glacier, I will just keep driving north a bit...

Superb image from a wonderful place. Can you share a little bit how you got up there, hiking/helicopter ride?

They have 5 huts that are similar to primitive camping huts (called Naiset huts) where we stayed at... there is a lodge as well but it is insanely expensive.

Yes, thanks for pointing it out Rick, it indeed is sharpening artifact.

Absolutely... just 4 more hours and you are there...

We took helicopter ride since due to recent floods all bridges on the trails were washed off. Also, with a 7 year old, that was definitely the easier option!

Jim you'll want to helicopter in and possible out depending on how you feel about hiking out ( 26 km's ) at least it's mostly downhill on the way out.

I agree with Dan... only this time there was no option of hiking since the floods washed out all the bridges... so helicoptor was the only choice (not that I was going to hike with a 7 year old)
