Lots of night shots from my last trip along the norther California coast. Went three days without sleep, then finally had to start taking cat naps during the day. Almost got stranded in San Francisco with cancelled flights because of the plane crash that happened Saturday. Called my boss and he pulled some strings for me and got me on a flight back home.

Hey Keith,

Now that is indeed a very different looking view. Nice work with the stars and the light painting. I am glad you were able to get back home.

I like how you lined it up but am curious how you were able to get the waves to be so frozen as opposed to blurred?

ISO was set at 4000 or 5000 so when I wiped the light past them, it was quick.

Thanks, thats when I was there as well. Did the night shot at around 2am, then came back for morning shots which was a bust. Then shot infrared during the day. Then waited for sunset.

Love the alignment of the Milky Way.
I've been there several times, but you've got me thinking about some different shots, both early & late
