You won't get a sharp image of anything moving with a 20sec exposure.
I agree on moving up the ISO for a starter. That would cut that exposure down to 10sec which is still going to leave a trail or blur.
Maybe you shoot them a bit earlier when they are lighting up or try a few flash firings during your exposure. You could also try a led flashlight on a static subject to illuminate the body slightly to give detail, when the phosphorous glow goes off it will be brighter and a different color and you might get your shot!
