To me anyways! Found a little gold mine yesterday for Bobolinks and managed a few snaps between me flailing my arms at the Mosquitos! The bg's and fg's are busy but that's all they gave me. I was working and the farmer who owns this field came up to me when he saw me hauling the 500, he guided me to the bobo's. He said that they were waiting for the hatchlings to move on before they cut the field down (they grow sod). Feels great to hear the mentality towards this species changing.
I also spotted my first gray catbird, but only managed an ISO 1600 shot.
I really like this set Charles - well captured and a nice story to accompany these fine shots. Kudos to the farmer too, great to hear of that thoughtfulness.

Very nice! Love those Bobolinks. Ive been shooting some here and find to get the black feathers right i blow out the blond head! You did great. I love the sound of the males during mating season.
