The Franklin Institute chicks have fledged. The three juvies (2 males, 1 female) will be hanging around the Benjamin Franklin Parkway for a while, getting fed by their parents and learning how to hunt for themselves. Yesterday morning, one of the males was figuring out how not to fall off the Civil War monument.
