My wife's family lives in Oregon. When we visit, I always try to get some time to make some images. This is one I took a few weeks ago while we were there for our niece's high school graduation. Taken late in the morning so it wasn't the greatest light, but I really like the reflections. Oregon seems to have a lot of images just waiting for a photographer to happen by. Hope you like it.

I like it. It's got depth, color, reflections and calm feel.
The clouds are a nice mood lifting element too.

Hey Ron,

What a very nice looking shot. It's always nice to be able to get a nice landscape shot when out visiting relatives.

Thanks. Yes, Oregon has a lot of scenery. If your into landscapes you could be busy there for a long time. You would just have to find dry days in the winter!

Thanks. Yes its good to get away when visiting relatives and go shoot. Sometimes it is even necessary for your mental health--if you know what I mean!

What makes this shot is the wonderful dark cloud reflected in the middle of the lake!

Yes. It is just north of Jefferson/Albany close to I-5. Probably 15 miles south of Salem.
