It's been a while since I've gone to take a landscape photo since the kids arrived. I've had a stack of 2012 pictures to edit. It took me a while to edit this one. Since digital manipulations are a hot topic these days

, full disclosure:

3 shot exposure, manual blend in CS, added a bit of orton glow affect to give it to the more winter feel (might not be your cup of tea, but decided to try something).

** re-edited my original photo to recovery highlights and softened up on the heavier burned areas **

Looks like you were a little heavy on the burn brush in some places and the sky needs amore detail. Comp is good though IMHO.

Hey Jason,

We don't see too many winter shots from that location, nice job here with a different look into Yosemite.

Thanks for the C&C. I reworked my original and softened up on the having burned areas and recovered more highlights in the clouds.
