Some shots I took last week. Please tell me what you think, especially any critiques on how I could have improved the shot, or processed it differently. Which ones are the strongest? Thanks!
Nice series, love the colors & layers.
Your right a bit crunchy on my monitor/Firefox.
I would PP some with less sharpening & repost as it would make them even better
Where is this located?
Cool series, nice variety and sweet light. The last couple are a little crispy. The 'tooths are on my shortlist of backpacking destinations after I move to Washington.

Without a doubt the PP is heavy handed on the sharpening. #5 & 6 are very intriguing. For me they are the best of the lot. Would love to see them reprocessed.
Ryan, these have potential. As pointed out, they are in need of less sharpening and/or more noise reduction. Also, on some of these (e.g., the first three), you might want to try to bring out some of the shadows a bit. I looked at the first image, and have three suggestions - (1) remove dust spots and small specks, (2) reduce chromatic aberration (purple fringing, where very dark areas meet very light areas, like around the tree that is hiding the sun), and (3) watch the edges and/or corners of your frame (e.g., the floating branches on the right hand side of the frame). For reducing purple fringing, Adobe Lightroom (and hence Adobe Camera Raw) have a pretty good fix for that. Finally, to my eyes, your last two images have the most interest. It would be nice to see these processed differently, especially reducing the sharpening (and/or increasing noise reduction). I hope these ideas help!
