Returned from safari in Tanzania and it was great!
Not sure how many images will play well in BW, but here is one.
The Great Migration is a timeless migration of a perhaps a million or more wildebeests, accompanied by a good number of zebras. As the grasses dry out in the winter the herds move roughly clockwise through the Serengeti in Tanzania into adjacent southern Kenya and back.
Our friend went to Africa and all we got was blurry shot of gnus.
Actually a terrific shot of them. I'm betting there will be at least a few more.
I look forward to seeing them.

Great capture and panning Scott - tough to do at that speed. I'm glad you weren't shooting them head on.
thanks so much!
Most of the time they were milling around or ambling a bit.
Then a few lines would coalesce and off they went!

It sure plays well imo.
An exciting adventure. And good stuff here, Scott.

thanks so much Charlie
We were in luck. You never know exactly where the migration will be. Just rough seasonal patterns.
