I think this is a very nice photo. The sky is sharp and colorful, the light house is also sharp and well exposed. The fish eye distortion seems to distract me from what is otherwise and amazing photo. Maybe you have a lens profile or something and can pull down those corners to straighten the horizon. Good job on the milky way!!!!!

Great shot. The stacker did a great job correcting the distortion. Love the well exposed light house.

Hey Nori,

You really nailed it for your first time out shooting the Milky Way! I am glad you corrected for the Fisheye look, it has very limited appeal and all the curving really distracts from a super cool shot. So nice work with the edit, I really like it. Was the lighting on the foreground and Nubble natural?

Hi Jim, the lighting on Nubble is light pollution from York. The light of Nubble were not turned on, so when I was standing there it was pitch dark and I could barely see the lighthouse with Naked eye.

That gives a rather magical feeling to me. I remember standing here one evening watching night scuba divers going into the waters here but this shot with all that sky simply gives me goosebumps!
Very unique and aways special when it is a landmark that one has visited

I do like the slightly lighter water area in the original but the looks of the sky in the corrected one is stunning.

Great capture Nori. My pick is for #1 as well. I'm tempted to crop the left side, maybe to a 4:5 ratio.
